Power to the Point

This week we got to practice our skills using Power Point. It was pretty awesome seeing the different things that a person could do with power point. I had never really used it before and my wife made fun of me for it. She said that an elementary school student could use powerpoint. I guess she is right. It came fairly easy for me in the beginning. I started out using the schools computers and I got comfortable with them but when I got home to finish the project it was totally different. I think I have a different version of powerpoint on my lab top and I felt like basic tools I had used on the schools computer where hidden on my version. I still need to spend some time and figure out how to use the power point on my computer. I enjoyed working with it and I'm excited to learn more.

Earlier in the week we were working with photos. I really enjoy doing that. Right now I just use I photo and I have been really happy with that but I figure I better learn how to use Picassa. I think the collage function is pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what I can put together.

Congratulations to Pam Turley and the new addition to her family, she just had a new grand child. I want to wish her good luck on her trip next week to go visit the new baby.

  1. There are some differences between PowerPoint 2003 and 2007. All the basic functions are there, but hidden in different places!
    Thanks for your good wishes!
