Digital cameras

This week in Class we are learning about Digital cameras. We are learning how we can use digital cameras in our classrooms to help teach the students. This could be a useful tool to have in the future. What this does is bring photos from the community into the classroom and will help the students learn how the lessons that they are learning in class apply to their own life.

Digital cameras can even be used in my life today as a college student. Digital photos can be implemented into class presentations, and assignments to make the power point or slide show even more vivid. Teachers and students alike do not like boring lessons and if you can spruce the power point up with photos that will make your lesson that much better.

My future students will also benefit from my use of digital cameras. By being technology savvy I can impart that knowledge to my students. My students will be able to take photos of class projects, productions, presentations and class parties and be able to upload these photos to the classroom blog, now their parents will be able to see exactly what their child is learning. This will build a better sense of community between me, the teacher, and the parents of my students.

this will help me become a better future teacher because I will be able to use all of the tools that I have available to me. I will be able to record what I am doing as a teacher and I will be able to share this information with my future students. I will now have photographic examples to show to my students of projects my previous years students have done and it will be easier to get the excitement of learning started in my new students.

Finally I will be able to share photos with my colleagues and together we will be able to work and get better results when it come to teaching. I can't wait to share my ideas and to have other's share their ideas with me. I know that by working together as a team I will be able to accomplish so much more.

As I watched the video "Top Ten Things You Didn't Learn About Teaching In College," it made me think that there are lots of things that I will never learn by sitting in a college classroom. I have confidence that I will not know everything but that I will know that I don't know everything and that will make me more humble and easier to teach. I always want to be learning, I want to use all the resources at my disposal so that I can become the best teacher I possibly can.
