Vidcast was the topic of this weeks blog. In class we discussed all the different ways a teacher could utilize a vidcast to enhance the learning experience for their students. Teaches and students can both use vidcasts.
A teacher might use a video to bring more understanding about a concept,or student could make their own vidcast to show their understanding. There is great potential for the use of vidcasts in the classroom.
What this means for me as a teacher is that I get to teach more exciting lessons. The benifit for my students is that they don't have to sit through another boring lesson. We just learned today in psychology that the more stimulated a brain is the more learning takes place.
I want my students to have every availble tactic so that they can succeed in life and I know that vidcast can only give them a leg up on their journey.
