Because we didn't have class this past week I wasn't sure what we were supposed to blog about. So I decided to write about how our digital story is progressing. I feel that it is going great! We are using iMovie to build our digital story. I have worked with the program before so I think our digital story is going to be awesome. We have found lots of images and our music choice helps tell the story.
I like the digital story because it gives the student a glimpse into what they are learning. Our class will be learning about the 3 groups in Utah. The trappers, native americans and the mormon settlers. In our digital story we show pictures of old utah and settled utah so the students can compare and contrast how the landscape has been altered.
I've had a great time working on the digital story and can see how it will be useful in the future.
